Slow burn

I have recently returned from teaching my weekly Bible study to the ladies in recovery. I am in a gentle glow right now. It is very hard to describe, just a feeling of "mmm-hmmm." I walk out of the facility and feel quiet yet exuberant at the same time. I know I am doing God's will. I know he is moving through me. It is a very satisfying feeling, very comforting.

It's a slow burn that ultimately gives way to exhaustion. But it is a good exhaustion. I always like to be still for a while, to experience it until it fades completely.

Psalm 46:10 -- "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

I am blessed.
