Going to Church

I've decided to tell myself that no matter where I'm headed, I'm going to church. It's my strategy for maintaining a mindset consistent with my faith. I connect with God at church. I care about others at church. I discover peace at church. I feel the Spirit at church.

So that's the ticket then ... no matter where I'm going, I'm going to church.

Church is where we go to experience God in a refreshing, sometimes profound way. We go to celebrate our common ground with other believers. We go to honor and worship our Creator, Redeemer, Savior, Father, Lover of our souls. We go to be reminded that God is at work in the world, in our families and in our lives. We go to learn more about the character of God, chipping away at the notions we have allowed our limited minds to form about the Alpha and Omega. We go to honestly ask ourselves and those around us, "How am I going to be authentic in the way I express my faith in the days to come ... until I come back to church?"

Want to go to church with me? It's easy. Just climb in your car and drive.
